It seems like we can’t go a week without being hit over the head with the introduction of an exciting new seed bank. Grateful Seeds recently came to life with a host of extraordinary, exclusive genetics. Yieldmonger Seeds arrived with an incredibly well thought out game plan and have executed it perfectly so far. And now Grounded Genetics has landed with a bang, towing along with it a trio of strains that rival anything we’ve seen from a newcomer in the past few years. After putting in the decades in the underground cultivation and hash making scenes, Grounded Genetics brings with it a wealth of experience and passion, as well as instant kudos owing to their multiple wins in award shows. We’re really excited about their triumvirate of cannabis quality, and have broken down each strain in a little more detail for you below, so you know which one to pick. Or, you could pick all of them. Don’t want to leave anyone feeling left out, do you?

PIÑATA – An Elite Fem With Killer Genetics and Extraordinary Terps

It’s hard to think of a more appropriate name one which describes an object that spills treasure upon treasure once it’s properly opened up. Grounded Genetic’s Pinata is rammed with latent promise, in terms of its strength, yield, grow time and especially its terpene profile. And while we’re on the subject, let’s explore the flavour explosion that is Pinata; you’ll find notes of rich hazelnut ice cream undercut by a gaseous, pungent funk. Exotic fruity notes abound in this strain, too, along with acidic candy terps to balance out the sweetness. Visually, she’s a treat, too, with dense clusers of purple-hued nugs look constantly ripe for the picking. Throw in the more-than-solid flowering time and an effect that makes the most of its indica sativa genetics and you’ve got yourself a strain worth throwing a party around.

DESIGNER SHERB – A Mouthwatering, Short-Flowering, Solid-Yielding Hidden Gem

What do you get when you cross Sunset Sherbert x Runtz? You get a feminised delight with mouthwatering nugs, noteworthy highs and an outstanding terpene profile. With lip-smacking notes of candy gas originating from the Runtz side of the equation, and tropical fruits / candy and even hints of bubble bath coming in strong from the Sherbert side, it’s one for the taste connoisseurs. Continuing Grounded Genetics commitment to creating strains that taste as good as they smoke, Designer Sherb’s high is a vibrant one, perfect for kicking back and attempting to ignore that the world seems to be on fire, but with enough kick to be an ideal companion to any long bursts of concentration required.

FROOTZ FEMALE – Eye-Catching Beauty Supplemented By Killer Terps and Fantastic Extraction Potential

Frootz Female

Yes, we’re well aware that looks don’t matter. That beauty is skin deep. That real virtue lies beneath the surface. But when a strain looks this good, we can’t help but fawn over it. Deep purple hues flecked with dashes of orange over a grass-green base – we’re in love. Other things we’re in love with: the sweet, candy, sometimes acidic terpenes that all contribute to an utterly unique taste profile. The hash and resin extraction potential being as high as it is (this is the case with all Grounded Genetics strains, of course). The wonderfully chunky yield potential, an advantage it holds over its sister strains. There’s so much to love with Frootz Female, and while we’d hold back on calling it Grounded Genetics flagship strain, we wouldn’t be surprised if, after all the THC-laden dust has settled, it becomes that.
