Spitfire Genetics, to put it lightly, are ones to watch. Dropping at the tail-end of last year with a frankly outrageous stable of products, they’ve captured our hearts instantly, and that’s not just our UK bias showing. Their wares are a specialised, focus bunch, aimed towards the tastes and predilections of the cannabis seed connoisseur. Each strain is regular, and while that does have its drawbacks, there are some latent strengths that Spitfire Genetics exploits superbly here. Take up a pew and light up a joint (only if that’s legal in where you’re residing, of course!) while we run through the best that Spitfire has to offer.

Peach Mac

What do you get when you combine gargantuan yields with a terp profile as tantalising as anything you’ll find in 2022? You get Peach Mac, of course. Frankly shocking you didn’t already know that. This heaving nug nirvana offers huge bud clusters and simply looks divine. Tastes divine too, as previously mentioned. Notes of sweet candied peach, peach pie and lemon dominate the initial proceedings, eventually giving way to a creamy finish. We apologise for how that sounds. Spitfire very carefully selected the cut of Mac (11) x Peach Cubez for this creation, the latter being prized for its vigour and exotic terps, the former for its depth and overall terp profile too.

Watzapp

Watzapp is one of those rare strains that has a terpene experience quite unlike anything you’ve ever had before, but we’ll get to that in a bit. This indica sativa hybrid utilises its genetics expertly, offering up a wonderfully short flowering time that still manages to output a hefty yield. And while there are a whole host of other benefits to this strain, we’re truly in love with the delightfully off-kilter taste profile. You get your luxurious notes of soapy, candied Zkittlez from the Peach Cubez parentage, balanced by a gaseous, potent funky gelato. Legal extraction is where the real taste buffs should head towards, though, where distinct instances of a bizarre mix of burnt toffee and peaches arise. Simply fantastic.

Tiizer

The presence of Zkittlez being present in any strain is usually a sign that you’re guaranteed a base level of quality; happily, the most exciting thing about Tiizer is how it moves beyond that to create something wholly unique. Crossing a Zkittlez with the illustrious Peach Cubez ends up producing a regular strain with a remarkably short flowering time, a more-than-solid yield potential and a terpene profile exactly as delicious as you’d expect from those two parents. With 11 seeds included in every pack, this is another example of the value found in Spitfire’s superheroic line-up. One of our favourites without a shadow of a doubt.

East Coast Sour Peach

Building off a storied, 17 year old cut of East Coast Sour Diesel, East Coast Sour Peach is Spitfire Genetics’ stab at a US classic. An indica sativa hybrid, it balances a slightly above average flowering time with a satisfying yield. It’s palette-pleasing terp profile is a genuine standout, too. You’ve got the more gassy, zingy notes of the ECSD combined with the extraordinarily fruity delights of the Peach Cubez. AKA, you’re in for a treat. Its visuals end up being one of its strongest components, which is a characteristic often overlooked. Dense, tight buds coated in resin adorn this tall plant, and the potential for resin extraction means there’s life beyond it, too.
