TEC 9 is a new Indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain from Ultra Genetics which is derived from an NL9 mother pollinated by Ultra Genetics own AK Confidential male (La Confidential x AK47).
The mother strain, NL9, is itself a cross of NL5, Durban and the legendary White Widow. Ultra have pulled no punches with the genetic pedigree here; the parent strains are some of the most popular and potent strains to ever grace Amsterdam’s famous coffee shops.
Ultra Genetics’ breeders have skilfully harnessed the best qualities from all the parent strains to develop TEC 9. When Ultra Genetics grew this strain out in a legal climate, they were more than happy with the results; The plants grow to a short, stocky uniform size and shape, typical of Indica-dominant cannabis. TEC 9 plants have a hash infused flavour. Classic, indica effects are the order of the day, with just an element of uplift from the sativa in the breeding. Flowering takes around 8 weeks and Ultra Genetics’ breeders observed decent yields from their legal test run of the TEC 9 marijuana strain.
